Sourcing & RFx software

Run every RFx from scope to award.

Questr runs requests for proposal, quotation and information in seven clear steps, from setup to award. AI drafts the questions and researches the market, suppliers respond through a secure portal, and your team scores, compares and decides, with every step on record.

  • AI-drafted questions and market scans
  • Supplier portal with sealed bids
  • Scoring, scenarios and award

Why it matters

AI prepares. People decide.

AI drafts questions, checks responses against your requirements and quotes the supplier's own words, and suggests scores. It never makes the award or sets a final score. The audit trail shows what the AI suggested and what your team accepted or changed.

Set up

Draft an RFx in minutes, not days.

Describe the need and set how critical it is, and AI drafts the scope, questions, weighted criteria, bid sheet lines and a shortlist from your own suppliers. A web-search market scan suggests other vendors to consider, each with its sources, and files the findings as a PDF report. You choose what to keep.

  • The number of questions scales with how critical the purchase is
  • Market scans with a source for every suggested vendor
  • Start an RFx straight from a requisition
Supplier responses

A portal suppliers can use without an account.

Each invited supplier gets a secure link to the questionnaire, the bid sheet, the event documents and a private Q&A thread. Bids can be sealed until the due date, and pricing rounds ask suppliers for best and final offers. Deadlines are exact, with time zones.

  • Questionnaire, bid sheet and file uploads in one portal
  • Sealed bids that open only when the rules allow
  • Best-and-final pricing rounds with earlier prices kept
Evaluation & award

Compare, score and award with the evidence in front of you.

Responses sit side by side. AI checks each one against your requirements and quotes the supplier, and your evaluators score against weighted criteria. Award scenarios compare lowest price, best value and split awards, and warning signs such as identical bids are flagged. The award creates the contract, purchase order, project and onboarding request you choose.

  • Weighted scoring by each evaluator, totalled live
  • Award scenarios and target prices from your own purchase history
  • Award creates the contract, PO, project and supplier onboarding

Questions

Frequently asked questions.

What is an RFx?

RFx covers the family of sourcing requests: a request for information (RFI) to learn about the market, a request for proposal (RFP) to compare solutions, and a request for quotation (RFQ) to compare prices. Questr runs all three.

Do suppliers need a Questr account to respond?

No. Each invited supplier gets a secure link that opens only their own response. They answer the questionnaire, price the bid sheet, upload files and ask questions there.

Does the AI choose the winning supplier?

No. AI drafts, researches, checks responses and suggests scores, and every suggestion is labelled. Evaluators set the scores and a person makes the award, with a recorded reason.

Can bids be kept sealed until the deadline?

Yes. While sealed, answers and prices stay on the server and scoring is blocked. Bids can be opened, and the opening is audited, once the due date has passed or every supplier has responded.
